Sympathy for Delicious
[FILM] Directed by Mark Ruffalo (he also plays a supporting character), this film is a wee bit all over the place. It can’t seem to decide what genre it wants to be, and I have to say, while some shots were beautiful, for the most part, the cinematography was really distracting— too much headroom!!! The acting was strong; Mark Ruffalo’s character was great, Christopher Thornton was really fantastic, Juliette Lewis provided comic relief, and Orlando Bloom was a lot darker than his previous roles- much more compelling than his RomCom fare… Can’t say I’d really recommend it, but I didn’t hate it either. Meh.
